ARMORED CORE ONLINE RULES
1.) NO FLAMING. Under no circumstances are you to directly, or indirectly insult
another member of the board, this includes Trolling, or making comments that
would incite a flame as a return. Respect the posting rights and views of
others. When caught violators will be warned, multiple violations will result in
a ban, or a temporary removal of posting rights. Flaming a Moderator, or an
Administrator is grounds for an immediate and permanent ban at the discretion of
the Board Administration.
2.) NO SPAMMING. Do not post just for the sake of posting. Members that spam the
forum with useless posts will be warned, or depending on the severity of the
violation, may be banned from the forums at the discretion of the Board
Administration.
3.) DO NOT POST INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL. Teenagers and younger children read this
site and should any member post, or link to, material on the net that can be
considered inappropriate they will be banned on the spot with no questions
asked. Inappropriate material is defined as any material that may be generally
offensive or racial/religious/sex comments or jokes. This also includes attempts
to get around the swear filter or excessive swearing in general. If you feel
that an Administrator, on the basis of posting, has treated you wrongly make a
mature post about it in the Member Support Forum, or contact an Administrator
Directly.
4.) DUPLICATE ACCOUNTS ARE NOT ALLOWED, no exceptions.
5.) ONE ACCOUNT PER MEMBER, no exceptions.
6.) READ BEFORE YOU POST.
a) Check the Announcements Forum, Not only does it have the
Forum's Faq, and a link to the Help Files it also has a lot of information
on the ACO board as well as news from Agetec or From Software. The AC Open
Source forum is where we announce projects we have in the works, make sure to
stop by and contribute to at least one project.
B) If you need help with any Armored Core game make sure you post your
Armored Core arena, mission, part, hidden part, memory card, and related
questions in the
Game Help Support forum.
c) Check the sticky topics in each forum. Many of our forums have their own
special set of rules. It is required that you read these rules before posting,
specifically in the AC discussion and design submission forums. Also, read up on
other sticky topics contained for special topics, such as Armored Core Nine
Breaker or Armored Core 4, and most of these stickies contain a treasure trove
of information for those looking for answers.
d) Check previous posts about a certain topic before asking a question, and be
sure to check at least three (3) pages back (That means to page Four (4)) in the
AC General Discussion Forum, and post in those topics. We don't want to have a
whole bunch of spam pertaining to the release date of the next Armored Core or
"where can I find the Karasawa?" Remember all game questions go in the Game Help
Support which is under the Game Faqs and Walkthroughs forum, we also suggest
being as specific as possible when asking a question.
7.) KEEP SIGNATURES AND AVATARS REASONABLE.
Please keep the combined file size of your signature and avatar under 100kb.
Having large file sizes of pictures is on 56k users! For actual picture size, your signature must be no bigger than 600 in width, and 250 in height and no more than 5 lines of text at size 4, if you are not going to use a signature picture 20 lines of plain text may be used.
I suggest using
http://www.villagephotos.com or
http://www.photobucket.com for your hosting needs.
a) Under no conditions are audio files of any kind allowed to play directly in the posted topic. Links to audio files are fine.
8.) FEEDBACK AND DOING YOUR PART.
a) You must post any questions, or suggestions, in the Member Support Forum.
c) Please take note of the "report" button at the upper right. Clicking this
button will send an email to all Administrators and Moderators containing a link
to the reported post, as well as the text the reporter inserts as well as their
name. If you find something objectionable on this board please use this so we
can fix the problem.
c) If you feel you have been treated unfairly by an Administrator or Moderator,
send a Private Message to a Moderator or Administrator you have trust in, or
make a mature post on the
Member Support Forum.
